Indonesia '65

This is a set of portraits of survivors, former political prisoners and relatives I took of the victims of the 1965/66 massacres in Indonesia, which allegedly killed more than one million people, The visual research was commissioned by the Centre for Cultural Centered Approach to Research and Evaluation (CARE), at the Department of Communication and New Media of the National University of Singapore. The interviews were conducted along with ethnographer Dr. Dyah Pitaloka, under the direction of Prof. Mohan Dutta, to be co-published with an international press partner in print and multimedia format, in 2016.
