I have long been a great fan of the Indian film industry, from the Raj Kapoor classics on social justice of the 1950s and 60s to the development of the wonderfully charismatic and chaotic Bollywood mega productions. So, when approached by a PR agency to document life inside the huge Film City studios in Mumbai, I could not refuse the temptation and spent many weeks on various trips producing images for their brochures and publicity material, as well as a set of pictures on life behind the scenes, which has been published widely.
